Home Inspectors do not pass or fail home inspections. They provide an assessment of the property's condition for the buyer to be able to make an informed decision about the property they are buying. If it is for a pre-listing inspection, it is an assessment of items the seller will have knowledge about to determine what they want to take care of before listing the property.
The results of the home inspection will be on a home inspection report that will list several items, good and also those of concern that should be discussed and addressed. It is suggested that buyers and sellers obtain a real estate agent to assist in making the tough decisions about the the purchase or pre-listing.
